At the misty forests of Sattal, Uttarakhand, the path to my dream sighting wasn't easy — a steep uphill climb through a narrow, winding passage tested every step and breath. But nature always rewards patience and effort.

At the top, amidst the tall trees and soft mountain light, there it was — the stunning Long-tailed Broadbill, glowing in shades of green, yellow, and blue, like a jewel among leaves.

All the fatigue vanished in that magical moment. Every climb, every drop of sweat was worth the sight — a reminder that true beauty often waits at the end of the hardest trails.
