It was a calm, rainy Sunday at Manjalpade, when the mist hung low over the trees. My friends Abhay Yelloore, Vaman Kamath, Vivek Nayak, and I stood still, cameras in hand, watching nature reveal one of its regal moments.
Perched high on a branch sat the Changeable Hawk Eagle, feathers soaked from the morning rain. As the drizzle stopped, he lifted his mighty wings wide — each feather glistening with droplets, each movement full of grace and pride. He wasn't just drying his wings; he was reclaiming his throne in the wild.
The scene spoke of resilience — how even after the storm, life spreads its wings again. That Sunday, under grey skies and soft rain, the eagle reminded us that strength shines brightest after the rain.
