In the soft morning light of Mysore's grasslands, I wandered with my friends Suresh Kamath and Arun Santhosh Fernadis, our eyes scanning the golden reeds for a glimpse of color. Then, like sparks in sunlight, they appeared — a male and female Red Avadavat, perched side by side.
The male, glowing in bright crimson, shimmered like a ruby against the green. The female, calm and gentle, stood close — her soft brown hues complementing his fiery charm. Together they hopped from stalk to stalk, whispering a quiet love song only nature could compose.
In their tiny world of color and care, I saw a portrait of balance — beauty and simplicity, passion and peace. The Red Avadavat pair of Mysore reminded me that love, in its purest form, always finds a melody in togetherness.
