In the cool misty woods of Coorg, where sunlight filters softly through tall trees, I wandered along a quiet forest trail listening to the melodies of the Western Ghats. Suddenly, from the shadowed undergrowth, came a gentle yet lively call — the Puff-throated Babbler.
It appeared briefly, hopping among the dry leaves, its puffed throat moving rhythmically as it sang its forest tune. Small, shy, and full of charm, it carried the spirit of the hidden jungle life.
This sighting in Coorg reminded me how beauty often hides in the quiet corners of nature, waiting to be seen by those who listen with their hearts.
